Surprise from Santa

Tonight the Williams family invited us over for dinner and a surprise for the kids. We all had dinner and drinks and then heard some knocking at the door. It was Santa! All the kids (6 of them) got to sit in Santa's lap and talk to him. Then Santa gave them a present from his bag. Some new PJ's and books. Gavin was AMAZED that Santa remembered he wanted Magic School bus books! Poor Austin was in the back of the room, and each time Santa tried to get him to come over, Austin would scream as loud as he could.

The kids put on jammies and ran around. It was very cute:)

Bath Boys

Since it is chilly most mornings until at least 10am, the boys have been spending more time inside. (more than ever) so we get a little bored. Austin would take 10 baths a day if he could, and we are constantly trying to keep his clothes on so he does not get in the bath! So each morning they take a 45min bath AND one at night;)

Clement Christmas Play

Today Gavin's preschool put on a little Christmas show. They all gathered and sane some Christmas songs....it was pretty adorable. Austin and I were front and center watching until Santa got there to surprise the kids. Austin about flipped out of my arms, poor guy.

We are really happy with this new school for G. He only has 7 other kids in his class, and Mre. Aitken is a really great teacher. Gavin says that he "works VERY hard" at school, so thats good:)

Way to go Austie!

This morning Austin went #2 on the potty! He came running to me and told me he needed to go potty. That means he said "Uh, uh, uh uh uh!" while pointing to his bottom. We ran to the bathroom, and thankfully he did not have diaper or pants on (like usual). He sat down and went #2! He was SO SO SO proud. Took the potty to show daddy and Gavin. He was smiling and laughing, and then he was super excited to dump it in the big potty to flush. Way to go Austie!!!

Santa times two!

We happened to see Santa two times in a week. The second time was at St. Christopher's moms group Christmas party. It was a nice dinner with Christmas crafts for the kids and then Santa came. Gavin and Austin each got a gift from santa too. When Gavin went to sit on his lap, it was SO SO funny what he said. Santa said, "Well Gavin, what would you like for Christmas???" and Gavin said "WHA WHAT! Don't you remember? Silly Santa! I already TOLD YOU yesterday, REMEMBER???!!!" Everyone was laughing (a nervous laugh) and I looked at Santa and told him he just SAW Gavin last week. Hehe it was really funny.

I just attempted to get close with Austin in my arms and oh sweet Lord! He screamed so loud and then proceeded to cry so hard we had to leave. Time to go!

{Gavin 52 Months}

Dear Gavin,

This past month has been a ton of fun and super busy. You are the man of plans, and you like to talk about what the next day involves before bed every night. We go over the plans, such as "Tomorrow is Mountain School day, but before that we have art class and lunch. Then after school its time to watch a WHOLE Thomas movie AND then have a snack. Then its ride bikes to Hacienda and RACE home for dinner. PHEW! That's a LOTTA plans MOMMA, I better get some sleep for my big day!" This is how it goes and you are always very excited.

Two schools, art class, parks, play dates, dinner dates, and LOTS of bike riding. We are always busy, but you make sure you have your iPad, DVD, TV, and computer game time.

We are headed to Cincinnati later this month after Christmas, and you are SUPER excited for that.

More later!

Love you-
Momma
