{Gavin 88 Months}

Dear Gavin,

Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to be your mom. You are growing up so fast and becoming so responsible and so helpful. You remind me a LOT of your dad. He teaches you so much and I am so thankful!

You can be found riding your bike, playing outside, playing with friends, playing iPad, putting together lego sets, and doing art projects these days. You like to keep busy and thats is a trait you got from me! You are SO in love with the "dog party" at the park. Every day there is a group of people who meet at the park to let the dogs play together. You insist each day that we are home right at 4 so we can go. You and Austin run around with the dogs for a solid hour. They LOVE you guys and play play play. You think this is so awesome!!! You lay down and cuddle them and they kiss all over your face. You just laugh and laugh!

You love school, friends, and just about everything. Thank you for being so kind to me and others.

{Austin 58 Months}

Dear Austie-

Where is the time going? I am still in shock that YOU will be off to KINDER come August!!! My BABY will be in school EVERY day! I am getting very sad to know that this will happen. You and I have SO much fun together on our mornings...and I so enjoy them. I will definitely be sad when you are gone, but you are SO ready for it! Mr. Social, that's you! You enjoy people and play SO well with everyone. You do awesome with difficult kids...and then when they wont share or be nice, you help them out. I am SO proud of you. If someone wants the seat you are sitting in? You kindly get up and let them have it. You are the biggest peacekeeper and that makes us so happy to see. Such a kind heart. 

You are SO tall these days. In a size 5T, size 13 shoe, and no diapers ever anymore. You have been potty trained at night for so long. We are so proud. You are becoming a bit of a picky eater these days...only wanting certain things, like "sweeties" and I do tend to give in. You will eat your healthy stuff first but then want a treat ;) Like mother like son!

We are so proud of you Austie, and we love the sweet boy you are. Soaking in these last months of our morning time!

Wednesdays with this guy

Wednesdays is our date day. Gav and I have lunch at his choice....usually Village Burger Bar or Mimi's Cafe...then we head out for errands or a treat. He is getting so mature these days. Holds doors for me, helps me with things, such a little man. Love him so!

Santa 2016!

Today we went to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa! Gavin was very excited to tell him his list. Austin would not go near. First he took off running away, and when I finally got him to come, he would NOT look Santa's way! He looked away the whole time while squeezing my hands. PETRIFIED of the big guy! I didn't force him to, as he would have kicked and screamed! Poor Austie!

Winter 2016

Its December. Its winter (We are freezing although its not really that cold) and its dark out earlier and earlier. The boys need to keep busy in the evenings so one night Gavin put on a "Ninja Show" for family and friends. They dressed up in new gear and ran around doing ninja things. :)
