{Gavin 67 Months}

Dear Gavin,

Its now a count down until you turn 6. My BABY will be 6??? How can that be? I tell you that its very exciting but its so hard for momma to think about it.

Where to begin. This past month has been a SUPER crazy busy month. You have handled it like a pro. You love to live at your new house and you love all the outdoor space it has to offer. Like nothing changed.

You have not had any issues about being sad that we left our old house and are selling it. The only time you got sad was when you thought we were not going to bring your swing on the front tree. We told you we can definitely bring it and find it a new home. Otherwise, you have been such a champ. Thank you!

You have been busy with school, play dates, and playing with your brother. You guys love to play out in the dirt, and love to pretend cook outside. Anything to do with cooking and you are on it.

You love school. You are eager to go every single morning, and we love this. Next year you will be going to K, and a new school. We are sad to leave such an incredible school, but we did this entire move so that you guys could attend one of the best school districts in the state. We hope you transition so well like you always do!

You are still napping during the day, sleeping great at night, and eating like a grown-up. You eat and eat and eat. You eat your entire plate and usually ask for seconds. No issues here!

We love you SO SO much Gavin. Thank you so much for being such a big boy, for helping us when we need it, and we are so proud of you. We really are.

Love you Gav-
Momma

{Austin 37 Months}

Dear Austin,

Well, another month has flown by, and you are such a big boy this month! You no longer appreciate when we call you the "little" brother because "Me a BIG BOY!" you say.

You are officially potty trained (except sleep) and we could not be more proud of you! You have actually been potty trained for pee for over a year, but you still needed to poop in a diaper. Well, that has changed! With a little encouragement, you went on the potty and you are SO PROUD of yourself!

You are super busy these days, always keeping up with your brother and his pals. Whatever they are playing, you will play too. Everyone always asks if you are 4, because you seem a bit more mature than 3.

The entire moving transition has been completely seamless for you. You just roll with the changes and have no complaints about anything. You have been on about a billion car trips from old house to new house to goodwill to the store to old house to new house....SO many trips and SO boring...and you have yet to complain. Things are starting to slow down since we are all moved in, and now you and I can continue our fun mornings routine...and have started hitting up the museum, zoo and bounce house place again. I just want you to know that I am so proud at how you have handled this entire process. Such a bog boy and so helpful to me.

You continue to LOVE Mountain School and all is has to offer. Last week you found a chicken egg, you held a baby chick, and you found 20 worms. Your favorite things to do. You ADORE your teachers and chat it up with them and all the parents in class. If someone will talk to you? You will chat all day.

You are such a sweet and loving boy. Always wanting to be held and snuggle with me. You love to read books before bed, and you just started to go "read" books by yourself during the day.

The singing. Oh the singing. You are ALWAYS singing songs. Whatever song you choose, its always with the real words and then your own made up ones. When I hear you, I melt into a million pieces and kiss your cheeks over and over. You are SO CUTE.

Oh Austin, please remember how proud of you I am. No matter what you do, no matter when, I am so in love with you and will always be proud.

Love-
Momma

Its official!

We moved!!! It has been an insanely busy month, but we are all moved into our new home!!!

Long story, but it started a few months ago. We knew that we wanted to move to a great school district, but we were not sure how to make that happen because it is so expensive. We started to brainstorm with Ma and Papa, and went through LOTS of scenarios. Finally we all realized that the best option would be for us to move to Ma and Papa's home! They needed to move out to their rental home for a few years, and we will live in Saratoga! We have some pretty big plans for the future, including moving BACK out to a rental for about 6 months while we remodel and expand our home! Also, Ma and Papa will come back here and live with us! The boys are THRILLED about the thought of living with them...they are so close and its such a blessing. Lots and LOTS of changes, but the boys are handling it so so well. We could not ask for more!

Our home in San Jose is going on the market!!! We are hoping it sells quick.
