Gavin's first Triathlon!

Gavin had his first Triathlon this weekend and he did AWESOME! He came in 11th place out of 75!!! 

First it was a swim, then a bike ride, then a run at the end. We are SO proud at how hard he worked! Did all transitions by himself, and was such a pro. He is already looking forward to the next one!

Gavin's first day of 2nd grade!

Oh Gav, you are such a pro! Today I was a little nervous, since I have ALWAYS walked you right to your spot and door for school...especially on the first day. Today was different because I needed to walk Austin to his first ever day of school! You understood, and we said goodbye a few minutes before the bell rang. You were so mature, and kissed me goodbye. I love that you still hug and kiss me. I cherish these times, I know they won't last forever!

You had a good first day and mentioned that your teacher was "the nicest teacher I have ever had!" so thats GREAT news!

You did GREAT today! You were ready, confident, and walked RIGHT in! You have been slightly uneasy the past few weeks while discussing going to school, but you did great! It was a super short day and when I picked you up, you were beaming. SUPER proud of you buddy!
