Dear Austie,

And so the summer starts! We leave soon for Ohio, then Maui, then home a short few weeks before school....BUSY!

You are an EXPERT traveler, and expert at all things related. You go with the flow, you are SO easygoing, and SO helpful!

You are so glad to be done with school and ready to play all summer....you are excited to swim, play in the ocean, and play with cousins.

Gavin U8 Boys Force Rec

This was Gav's second season in Force and it was so much fun. He loves to play and made some friends along the way...scores at least two goals a game, and is SO proud of himself. Next up, U9 next season!

Austin's first season of Soccer!

Austin finally decided that he wanted to play some soccer this season! So we signed him up with the Force Rec team, and had a BLAST! He is super quick, goes right to the ball, and does NOT give up! He is not at all afraid of the bigger kids, and just zips right by them. He scored so many goals and was very proud. At the end of the school year he told us that when he grows up he wants to be a professional soccer player. :)

Gavin's Outstanding Sportsmanship Award!

Today Gavin won the Outstanding Sportsmanship Award from his class! His friends and peers voted for him to win, and he was SO proud! We are SO proud too! He has had such a great year this year, and we could not be more proud of him and what he has accomplished. 

Austin KinderPrep Graduation

We really lucked out finding this program for you this year! It was a PERFECT fit for Tues/Thurs, the days you didn't have Mtn School. You called the community center preschool "City School" naturally, since it is in the city, and the other school is in the mountains. Ms. Dani was awesome and loved you so much....she was always telling me such sweet things about you! You learned how to write, count, and know most of your letters. More importantly you are SO confident to go to school without me, and you have your own deal. You are independent, you remember your backpack and lunch, you sit and pay attention to the instructions, and you have FUN! WE are SO proud of you Austie!!!
