Happy Birthday Great Uncle Glenn

We got to spend the evening celebrating Great Uncle Glenn's birthday! He adores the boys, and the boys love him. Very special to have him in our lives. 

Coney Island 2016

We have been coming to Coney Island every summer since the kids were babies...and the tradition continues! We used to mainly do the rides when they were so small, but now that everyone can swim, the pool is much better! We swim and go down the slides, and the kids say this is a favorite. 

Washington Park

This trip was extra special because we got to see Great Aunt Debbie and my cousin Amity and family. We all spent the day at Washington Park, downtown Cincy. The kids love to go play in the water and could stay here for hours. Special treat was walking over to the Klinckhamer building to take a picture. The Klinckhamer's were my great grandparents, and they owned a brewery here in Downtown Cincinnati. 

The Land

Another favorite while we are in Cincy is "The Land." We have so much fun there, and love to go every time. We hike, play in the creek, swim in the pond, build fires, and eat great food. The kids help Grandma in the garden, and work very hard picking whatever is in season. The highlight was when Great Uncle Darryl found a turtle in the road. We took him on a hike to the creek and let him go.

First Reds Game

Tonight we went to the boys first Cincinnati Reds game! We had a blast, ate lots of food, and of course LOTS of sweets. Didn't quite make it to the end, but we sure tried! 

Fun in Cincy

We always look forward to our trips here because it is non-stop fun the entire time. The kids get to play all day and Grandma also spoils them non-stop. So far lots of playing outside, lots of water play, and lots of hanging out with Great Uncle Darryl. The kids ADORE him and just love to joke around with him. Such a treat. Oh, and Great Uncle Darryl always bring them sweet treats, so they are in heaven!

Heading to Cincinnati

Two adults and three kids on the way to Cincy. The boys were great and watched movies/played the entire flight. Grandma and I even got to watch a mover ourselves!!! Imagine that?!? 

Fun with Ma & Noah

Its been a real treat having Grandma and Noah here the past week. We have kept nice and busy, and had a lot of fun. Happy Hollow with the boys was a blast, and Austin LOVES the roller coaster!

Happy Father's Day 2016

Happy Father's Day 2016! We had Ma and Papa over for dinner, and had a nice dinner celebration. Of course followed by swimming and fruit cake!

Lake Tahoe with Ma & Noah!

We thought it would be fun to take Grandma and Noah up to stay in Lake Tahoe! The Horton family was nice enough to let us stay at their cabin in Donner Lake, and we had a blast! The drive was WAY more fun with company and we made lots of stops. 

We spent the rest of the week doing lots of hikes, trips to the lake, horseback riding, kayaking, mini-golf, biking, and more hiking. What a beautiful place to go, and we are so glad we go to take them along!
