First Ferry Ride!

While driving home from Shawnee State Park, we decided to go take the ferry ride over to Augusta Kentucky so the boys could go on the ferry for the first time. They thought that was so neat, and we got to walk around Augusta for a little bit...a cute little town. Thanks for the great idea Grandma! We will never forget our first ferry ride!!!

We are here in Shawnee Park for the long weekend to celebrate Great Grandma & Grandpa's wedding anniversary. This place it pretty neat...it has two pools, lots of space to run around outside, and LOTS of cousins to play with!

Gavin and Austin have met some of their second cousins like Mari, Wiley, Jack, Cal and Wiley, but none of the rest...it was so cute, it was if they have known them all forever! They loved to hang out, play chase, swim and roast marshmellows!

Gavin has gone off the diving board so many times, and is swimming without his flippers or goggles! He is so proud!

Austin is enjoying meeting all his family, and hanging by the pool. 

As seen in the picture, Addie is enjoying the mac n cheese from the gourmet lodge restaurant.

On the last night, everyone left except Grandma, me, Gavin, Austin and Griffin! We got to have a fun sleepover, and then all drive home together. 

Thank you SO much Grandma and Grandpa for the really fun weekend! 

Happy 60th Great Grandma & Grandpa!

Tonight we celebrated Grandma & Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary! Almost the entire family was there (minus a new cousins and Daddy:( and that was a lot of people! 

The boys had a blast running around playing with their cousins...until the end of the night and we attempted to take group pictures. They were a mess...we had been taking pictures for too long, and they were exhausted! 

We are so happy that we got to spend the weekend with our Ohio family...some memories we will never forget. 

Grandma & Grandpa's Land!

Gavin has been waiting a LONG time to come back here! He was so excited to come and pick black raspberries, work in the garden, and swim in the pond. Gavin got his gloves and apron on, and he was off with Grandma. He had a blast. Austin LOVED to eat the peas we picked!

Dinner with Friends

Tonight my BFF Karen had me and the boys over for a little dinner party. Jane and Sara were there, along with Lisa and new baby Hailey, and Maris. It was so nice to get together with all my friends. I don't really see much of them when I am in town, as we always are so busy with family, so I really cherished this. Kar made a delicious dinner, and the kids had a great time. There is nothing like getting together with the friends I grew up with...miss them all so much. 

Coney Island 2014!

This is now a yearly tradition, going to Coney Island! The kids all have a great time, and LOVE to be together. It was so special to have everyone here...and to spend so much time with them. My favorite of course is taking the kids picture in the same spot as last year...they have all grown so so much! They are eating an ice cream treat from Grandma...so there are lots of smiles. 

Washington Park

We headed down to Washington Park for the day, so the kids could run and play in the water and really big park. We had a great day, especially because Uncle Pat brought his skateboard and took all the kids for ride. They loved it. 

Reunited and it feels so good!
