Sneak Peak

While we were on vacation this week, we decided to have our very first professional pictures taken! It was a HUGE feat to get Gavin to smile! More pics to come later! Best part was the awesome rainbow that appeared right as we started!

Road to HANA!

This is our 4th trip to Maui, and we have never done the Road to Hana. Mostly because we did not know what to expect and didn't think we could do it in one day with two young kids. This trip my good friend Tandem invited us to stay with her at her parents house IN HANA! So the Moore's and Hortons caravanned over to Hana! We stopped a ton of times, saw a ton of waterfalls, and went for a hike in the bamboo forest. Once we got to Hana 7 hrs later, we stayed at a beautiful home in Hana Bay, overlooking the ocean. It was heaven! We had 7 boys under the age of 6, so we did what we know best, hiked to the beaches! We were there 2 days, and loved every minute of it. We wish we could have stayed longer! 

Highlights of Hana: Learning to surf, learning to ride the waves, swimming in a waterfall, CLIFF JUMPING, hiking on the steepest trail in the world, black sand beach, sea glass beach, and so much fun with friends. Such a great time!

Black Rock Beach & Kapalua Beach

Austins highlight from the beaches: Making sand castles and digging huge holes to get inside of. 

Gavin's highlight: Swimming with the sea turtles. Every. Single. DAY!

Everyones highlight: Kayak and paddle boards! The boys went out all day in the kayak with daddy!

Drums of the Pacific Luau!

This could be one of our favorite luau's! The boys had a blast sampling all the fruit drinks, eating all the kalua pork, and of course watching the show. There was FIRE and lots of drums...the boys LOVED it! We had VIP seats, right in the front row! 

Napili Bay

We went to the Gazebo for breakfast (We were FIRST in line!!! I got there at 615AM and doors don't open until 7:30! We wanted the best seats so I sat and waited, read my book, in PEACE!)

After Mac Nut Banana Pineapple pancakes, we went down to our favorite beach. The boys found lots of hermit crabs that we decided to bring back to the condo! Austin was obsessed! Gavin collected shells and then made a game out of it. He named them and you have to guess the exact shell that he was talking about. 

Black Rock Beach, Maui

We headed down to Black Rock beach because we heard that the snorkeling was a ton of fun there...and it sure was! G and Ma were out snorkeling while Austie and I made sand castles:)

Headed to MAUI!

We were so excited that we got to go to Maui again this year! We have all been telling each other that we could not WAIT for Maui, its so much fun....and it has been! We got here Sunday and have been having a blast. Our first beach besides our own at the Sands, was of course baby beach!
