{Gavin 77 Months}

Dear Gava,

Well, I hate to say it, but you have been a bit sick this past month! We all have! Colds, coughs, you name it! We are really hoping that we are all well ASAP and it warms up so we can head out and be healthy!

You are loving life, school, your friends, playing, and sometimes your brother these days. I need to say thank you....THANK YOU, for always being so easy going and so helpful. Austin has been sick a lot too, and needs more attention since he is little, and you are so good about it. Helpful. Thank you!

We love you to the moon and back Gava!

{Austin 47 Months}

Dear Austin,

Well, I wish this past month was a little better in terms of health, but it has been a rough one! We have all been a bit sick with coughs and colds, but you have taken the hardest hit! This is your second bad cold/cough this season, and null more than you have ever had!

We are hoping that you get well very soon, you hate to be coughing all the time and miss playing and school!

Even though a bit sick, you are still mostly happy all the time. You prefer to sit on laps more than usual right now, but you are such a cuddle bug.

You are enjoying school, playing at home, and building with "mag-tiles" at home. Its been a bit rainy, so we spend a lot of time indoors.

You have started expressing an interest in drawing things, like pictures of "momma" and its very cute. I can't make out what they are but its still cute!

I can't say you are seeping well since you have been sick, but its been a lot of momma/dada sleeping with you!

Love you bubba, hope you feel better soon!

"El Ninnnno?"

So much talk of El Nino....is this it? Raining all week at school. This boy could not be more happy about playing in the RAIN! Raincoat and boots, and he is good to go outside the entire class!

"Lost Begas"

Well, we did it! We took the kids to "Lost Begas" as Austin calls it, for a week! Why not? We stayed at the Club De Soleil timeshare that Ma and Papa have and it was a TON of fun! We swam in the pool and hot tub every day, even though it was SO COLD out!

We checked out the big bright casinos and hotels on the strip, went to the Siegfried and Roy dolphin and tiger habitat, Children's Discovery Museum, The Container Park, The Springs Preserve, saw a Variety Show, ate at a million wonderful restaurants, and even had brunch at the Bellagio! Fancy fancy! We also saw the fountain water show at the Bellagio...seems to be a favorite for all.

On NYE, the universe had other plans for us. Gavin got sick, very sick in the morning, and I ended up taking him to the ER in the late afternoon while everyone else went to dinner and a show at the Wynn. We feared it could be his appendix, but thankfully he was just super dehydrated and needed medicine and IV fluids. After that, he was so much better. Thankfully we were in and out in a few hours, and we could have a Gatorade cheers at 9pm to celebrate!

All in all, it was a super fun trip. We had a lot to do and see, and can't wait to go back. Good thing, because we ended up buying a timeshare! When in Vegas I guess:)
