Grandma is here!

Grandma arrived the day after we got home from Hawaii and we were SO excited to see her! She stayed the week of Thanksgiving and she helped so much with the holiday! We even celebrated an early Christmas with her and she managed to get the boys TONS of toys! She got to come on field trips with us and cut down the tree. A very special week with Grandma.

Dear Gav,

These days you seem so old to me. So grown up. You know your schedule, don't need to be reminded much of anything (except not to hurt your brother) and you are so independent. Although you seem older to me, you still do nap sometimes, you still cry a lot (emotional love I call you) and you still need me. You are so tall when you stand next to me and I think you are around 66 pounds. I can barely lift you, and I still try. You laugh and we both fall over. 

You are loving school, playing with friends, robotics club, and Lego's these days. For Christmas all you want is Lego's. Specifically Star Wars Lego's. You can do a set that has 500 pieces that is meant for a 9year old. You are a smart smart boy!

A day in Poipu

Kauai here we COME!!!

Heading to Kauai for a pre-Thanksgiving holiday with the Moore clan! We arrived and went straight to the beach! We got to check out some of the Hanalei beaches where we are staying on the North Shore, and it is beautiful up here!!!

Dear Austie,

You are well aware that pretty soon, you will be five. FIVE! My BABY WILL BE FIVE??? I can't say it out loud. It seems CRAZY that you will be five...since you were just born like yesterday! I am so happy and sad at the same time. Happy because you are such a JOY to everyone. You actually seem older than five to me anyways. Sad because, well, you are my baby. I could kiss your cheeks all day every day and I DO because you let me. Can't help myself. 

You are busy these days loving school and also loving momma time at home. LOTS of playing with big brothers legos when he is gone, and lots of ninja/monster truck/karate stuff going on. 

You love your Mountain School. You happily pop into Kerri and Lanyll's car on Monday and Wednesdays, and you really enjoy the day I get to go with you. So happy there. Wish you could stay at Mountain School forever. I cherish this time I get to have with you. I really do. Next year you will be in school every day, and I won't have this time. 

Your favorite things to watch are Curious George, Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Lego shows, Zootopia, and anything on "Netflix TV" :)

You are in a size 5/6 clothes, no diapers anymore at all, and size 13 shoe. You weigh around 42 pounds, you are long and lean!
