Brothers!

Gone are the days of you two fighting most of the day....and hello to getting along! You guys are getting along **most of the day, and its SO nice! Anything Gavin does, Austin wants to do, and can. Watching you guys play is such a dream!

Alice In Wonderland

Today Gavin and I got to go to the Palo Alto Children's Theater to see Alice in Wonderland! It was a special date, and we got to meet some of his old pals from Mtn School! 

Gavin liked the play, although he was a bit upset that they "left out his favorite part" with the cat and the roses in the garden. We talked about how they could not fit in everything, that would be hard.

After the play we got to go to a special tea in the garden with all the stars of the show! Tea, cookies, smores, ice cream, you name it!!! Then there was a hat parade, and contest. The kids had a blast. 

Gavin, I am so thankful that you and I get to have special date days, they are so much fun!

{Gavin 69 Months}

Dear Gavin,

Such am incredible big brother you are. You have been spending your days playing so well with Austin, you even get to come to school with him on Fridays! (I let you skip school to come to Mtn School...a much needed retreat!) You are so patient and kind with the two year olds in his class. You love it. They look up to you too. Austin pal Milo just LOVES you!

You love all things "project" and prefer to do projects all day long. Art projects. Cooking projects. Sand/water/dirt projects. You name it, and you love to do it. 

You do all sorts of help around the house. We have never needed to ask or make you, you love to help! Yard work, laundry, pool maintenance, cooking, and organizing. You will help where needed, and Home Depot is a favorite place of yours. 

You are sleeping, eating and playing great these days. I can hardly keep up with your eating though...usually two servings of meals, and snack all day long. Favorites are Hawaiian bread, yogurt, kale smoothies, peanut butter, crescent rolls, pizza, apples, and popcorn!

School is almost out and you are starting to get sad that its happening. You just LOVE to go to school, and its going to be hard for you. Teacher Jennifer is just your favorite.

{Austin 39 Months}

Dear Austie,

Today you are 39 months old. You are super busy these days, pretty much doing whatever your brother is doing! You can ride a bike as fast, run as fast, and hide just as well:) 

You are in love with Teacher Jane and Sarah at school, your favorite day of the week is Tuesdays when Ma comes to play with you, and you really enjoy cooking outside and inside. You are pretty obsessed with firetrucks, and will make me stop the car when you see one. 

You sing sing sing all day long. You love to read books alone in your room, and you will ask us to read you all day long. Your favorite books and shows are Curious George. Of course!

The last picture is of you peeing on the tree. You have no problem with stopping what you are doing and dropping your pants! Such a Mountain School boy!

Happy Mother's Day 2015

Austin made me a bouquet of flowers at school today...and Gavin made me a mud cake. So special! On actual mothers day we went to breakfast for chocolate pancakes, took a nap, and had Ma and Papa over for dinner. The boys made me my FAVORITE dinner and even chocolate soufflé for dessert! I am spoiled!
