30th Birthday!

Well, my both didn't turn out as planned! The day before my birthday Noah came down with the flu. Then at 6pm on my birthday Gavin got it. Then 7pm and Bells got it. Gavin got it pretty bad too, he was down and out for a few days. Although we had plans to eat dinner at home with everyone, then head downtown to go out, these plans changed last minute. We had no idea if Austin was going to get sick too, so we decided to stay home. We played cards with Mom and Dad, and had a good evening....then at 10:30, Gavin had been asleep for a few hours, and was no longer vomiting....our chance to go! We would not have left them if they were both sick, but mom assured us that she would be right there if Gavin needed her. So we headed downtown to the hotel, just in time for midnight. It ended up being really nice. (We still wished Erica & Scott could have come!!!)

Gavin got up a few times to use the bathroom, but that was it! Thank you Mom and Dad for taking care of them, we are so lucky!

Almost 30!

Tonight was a special night...it was my last night in my 20's!!! Mom, Aunt Beth, Erica and I all went out for drinks and dinner at Bakersfield. (Funny that I go to Cincy and a very popular place to eat is close to where I live in Cali;) 

It was SO nice to have a girls night out...something we really never get to do. Thanks guys for the fun night!

Cincinnati Children's Museum!

Today Uncle Pat and Uncle Derek went skiing, so we decided to take the kids to the museum. Three adults and 6 kids. Phew! It was some work, but they had a great time and were very well behaved. Thankfully!

Warm weather boy

When we woke up, we saw that it was snowing! Austin has never seen the snow, so we took him out. Oops! He was confused for a minute, but then when he looked up to see it and it touched his face, he got mad! He wanted it OFF his face! HAHA! From then on, every time it would snow, he would shake his head no that he did not want to go out. I guess he is a Hawaii boy at heart:)

Sleepover!

Tonight all the big kids had a sleepover. Gav, Griff and Bells. Noah REALLY wanted to, but we realized that he may need another year. Plus he goes to bed a good three hours after the big kids;)

They all slept in sleeping bags in the living room, and they were so excited. VERY cute that Griffin fell asleep close to Gavin. So sweet. 

Gav woke up a lot throughout the night because he thought a shadow of a toy was a monster. Oh my. Lesson learned. Keep him in his room!

Babies in a crib

Austin loved sharing his crib with his cousins. Well, he really liked sharing it with Addie...the rest of the consigns only had limited time before he kicked them out. It was so cute when they were all in it together. Then when he was just with Addie they were so cute to watch. Neither of them talk much (at all) so they would just communicate by looking at each other. Austin would make noises at her and she would laugh. SO cute!
