{Gavin 54 Months}

Dear Gavin,

Today you are officially four and a half!!! You have been telling everyone that you are "almost four and a half" for 3 months now...and you finally are now!

At 4 and a half you...love to play in the sand and dirt, play with legos, read books, watch TV, ride your bike, cook, eat, dance, and go to school. You are a busy boy, and always into something.

You are starting to like chapter books a bit more, and you request as many books as we will read at all times.

You are in 5T clothes and still wear a diaper for bedtime.

You continue to be a great eater, and have very specific meal requests. You love Papa's chicken (breaded chicken) and you also love your smoothies. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life...it would be mac n cheese hands down. You probably eat that 4 times a week for lunch or dinner. We experiment with different kinds, but of course the Kraft is your favorite. Oh, and there is NO hiding veggies or meats in it! You caught me early on, and there will be no more;)

Your best friends are Ryleigh, James, Maddie, Emma, and Evy these days. (That's who you ask to play with when I ask you) We are headed to SD with Maddie tomorrow, so you will get to have a sleepover for SIX nights with her!!!

You continue to love school and get so much out of it. You prefer Mountain School over Clement School, but we understand why:) You are busy from the moment you get there tip the moment you head home. A true teachers favorite, they all flock to you. You prefer to build things with Teacher Bruce, talk with Teacher Angie, do crafts with Teacher Charlotte, and run around with Teacher Leslie. You have so many wonderful teachers....we are so happy.

You go to bed these days at 8pm and get up by 6am. On the days you do not have Mountain School, you nap in the afternoon for two hours. On Mountain School days you nap the whole way home. Still need your naps!

You are starting to play for longer periods with your brother. He is sometimes very frustrating to you, so its hard. We are working on it, but you understand that he is still "a baby" and he is learning. Thank you for being such a great example for him....most of the time;)

Happy four and a half!

Love you Gav!

Momma
