Tonight was Gav's very first soccer practice! He has been saying for months that he wants to play soccer "class" because he saw one going on every week before his art class. We finally had time to do another class during the week, so we signed him up for "Kidz Love Soccer" at the rec center. He was THRILLED to wear his shinguards and go play. Coach Scott is super silly and funny, and the kids LOVE him. Gavin was belly laughing almost the whole time at Coach Scott. Coach told us that the kids might be a little shy, or hesitant to go play without their parents on the first day. NOT. Almost every kid was so into it, it was so cute to watch.
Gavin still has not realized that he is not supposed to touch the ball with his hands...if it goes where he does not want it, he will swipe it back with his hands, then kick. So cute. For now;)
