NO SWIMMIES~!

We are so proud of you Gavin! Tonight you decided to take your swimmies off to swim! You did it ALL BY YOURSELF! Still in shock!!!

What an improvement you have made this summer in the water. At the beginning of the year, you did NOT want to even get your head wet. You refused to go under, and if your eyes got wet, you would get so upset. We didn't ever know if you would wane to swim! Everyone kept saying you needed to be in swim lessons, and we "needed" to teach you to swim. We decided to let you do it at your own pace, and when you wanted to swim, you would. Well, guess what. You did and you are such a good swimmer!

You learned how to hold your breath when under the water, and then you would pop up a little and take a deep breath in. Gavin we are so proud. More importantly, you are very proud of yourself too. When your eyes light up, and you smile so big because you are so proud of yourself? That's the BEST feeling a parent could have. We will spend our lives being proud of you and what you accomplish. But seeing you do something, and be proud of it? Its a dream.
