Today we went to Ma and Papa's house to celebrate Christmas with the family. We went early this morning, and Gav got to open his presents...and BOY did he get some cool things...the coolest of all was his new Jeep power wheels!!! Aunt Marisa gavin him his new ride, she knew JUST what he wanted! He was so excited to see it in the box, and immediately asked Daddy to "built it!" Hahaha. He was so patient, and even was OK that he could not ride it for another day as the battery had to charge...but he was so excited to sit in it!!! We will test it out tomorrow when we go back to Ma's house on Christmas:)
Tonight after dinner we got to start our very first Christmas tradition at home. This was so special because it was the first time we were home on Christmas Eve AND Gavin is old enough to somewhat understand what we were telling him. We told him about Santa, and how he comes down the chimney and brings presents to little kids who are good all year long. We read stories about Santa and we left Santa cookies to eat. Gavin was sooo excited to leave them for Santa, he did not even want to eat them! Big shocker as G ALWAYS eats cookies! He wanted to read all of his "Christmas books" and sat still for about 6 books...long ones! He was just so interested in what was going to happen:) He went to bed right on time, and was just so excited:)
