We discussed his overall health, and there were no questions or concerns. He is a very happy and healthy guy. He sleeps well and eats well. He nurses well and gets plenty of vitamins through his food. He is walking, sometimes running, and climbing everything. He is perfect.
No need for any tests.
He got his last round of Pneumo vaccine and the Varicella. We will go back in a month for MMR, and then wait until he is two for the Hep A. He is following the same delayed schedule that we had Gavin follow...and I really like it. I feel good about the vaccines he does get, and I am confident that there is no harm in skipping others. He cried after the shots, and then hugged me really tight. He forgot about everything as soon as I handed him his almond butter and jelly sandwich;) His all time favorite.
Next visit is a vaccine visit in a month, otherwise we go back when he is 15 months. :)
Like every time we go, I left feeling so thankful. He is so healthy, and there is nothing to worry about. Some people would kill to have such a healthy child, and I am not taking anything for granted. We are so blessed.
