Today we were very lucky to have Dayle come over to watch "the babies" so we could take the "big kids" down to Monterey Bay for the day! We really packed in a TON of stuff and it was so much fun!
We started out by heading straight to the aquarium. We got to see a ton of sea life and the kids loved it all. We ended the visit by watching a show out in the sunshine overlooking the ocean.
We were all starving at that time, so we headed to The Fish Hopper for lunch! We sat with a beautiful view of the ocean, and had a delicious seafood lunch.
Next up it was the beach. We played at the beach for a while, and the kids looked for seashells and played in the water.
Next stop was Dennis The Mennis Park! The best kids park around. SO much to do and play on. The favorite was the rolling slide. All three did it over and over and over.
Next up was frozen yogurt. We headed downtown to a great little place, and the kids picked all the toppings they wanted.
Next stop? The Sand Hills!!!! Gavin was most excited for this, as his FAVORITE Wiggles song is "Rolling down the sand hills" and he sure did! All three had SO much fun. Erica and I just laid on the sand hillside and soaked in the sun. We could not leave without seeing the ocean one more time...and this is where Griffin and Gavin are in heaven! Love to run and be in the waves.
The trip ended at about 4pm, and all three fell fast asleep on the car ride home:)
