{Gavin 35 Months}

Dear Gav,

Oh my, in ONE month you will be THREE!!! My baby boy will be three. I can no longer blame things on the "terrible two's!"

This last month was a very fun, yet somewhat low key month. We got back from Cincinnati mid June, and have been taking it pretty easy...I think traveling with you boys alone really wore me out! Summer seems to be our "time off" from all the scheduled stuff...like play dates, park dates, school, art class, etc...we have kept gym class once a week, but that's all that's scheduled, and its been nice...and necessary! Especially since your brother is a napping machine during the day, and he prefers his crib.

That's not to say that we have not been busy though! Still LOTS of parks (close to home), lots of museum and zoo trips, and lots of walking to the market/friends houses! You ride your balance bike like a pro, and its so nice!

You imagination has really taken off lately...you pretend EVERYTHING these days! Mostly cooking, but you love to make "parties" with fake food and fake cook it.

You continue to be the "worlds best sleeper, eater, cooker, napper, and balance bike rider" in your words exactly! We have no complaints in these areas...so thank you!

You take our ears off all day long, and you are so funny sometimes. Never a dull moment for sure.

You continue to love on baby brother all the time, and are so sweet to him. Minus one bite to the arm last week! Oops! You live and you learn...that's for sure!

You rarely throw tantrums, and for that we are VERY thankful.

Tears? Well, there have been lots lately, you have been SUPER emotional about things...mostly when you get hurt, the waterworks flow. You "need a hug" and need "to be held" We think it may have to do with baby being in the picture (the being held part) but otherwise its usually when you are so so tired.

Oh Gavin, we love you to pieces...even though I sometimes tell you that "you are driving me crazy" I still love you!

Here is to your last month as a TWO year old!!!
